I love your little sketchbook signs!

Dominant eye also comes up in archery and photography. Mine is left, and nobody makes a camera for left-eyed people, so my nose is always annoyingly in the way when taking photos!

This makes me wonder. It seems like left is far less common. Are you left handed? I wonder if there is any correlation?

There doesn't seem to be. I am very much right handed, but I will put a telephone to my left ear. If I would kick a football, it would be with my right leg. No consistency whatsoever!

Eyes!! I had cataract surgery in July and I’m having problems with my right eye - which, thanks to you, I now know is my dominant eye - who knew.

I had both eyes done and yes, all my friends said OH you will love it! Everything looks bright, etc. Not for me. I’ve now been diagnosed with vitreous detachment, vitreous is the gel like substance in back of your eye. I was told this is an age thing, I’m 81. The problem now is that my retina might tear. They can fix it if it does happen. I have a film that moves around my right eye, I don’t see blurry like you do. It quickly moves in and out and not always, it does make reading interesting. UGH. Hope your eye gets better soon.

Oh - I never even heard of that one!

New to me as well. The fear is the retina detaching. Yes they can fix it but there is an urgency factor to think about. I live in a rural area and would have to travel an hour+ to get the treatment I will need. Getting old certainly is not for sissies!

Don't you wish they would tell us this stuff? Is your right the one you had surgery on?

What a nice cheer up ending to my day. I love word play.

I'm also in the 44 and happy to be there! Thank you Jessica I love your chatty emails and I always learn something new. What a surprise trying out the dominant eye exploration!! Did my finger jump or what !!

I know! I was shocked at how far it moved! It's a wonder our eyes can operate as a team so we can see!

I’m in the “44” but no apologies are necessary! Good art and fun art are always worth seeing a second or third or fourth time.

And I definitely remember Whatever Whenever. I was thinking about it just the other day and about how much I enjoyed it and how much I loved the name! I also remember Capture!

I’m currently working on and am almost finished with a so-called junk journal. But my brain won’t let me do the “junk” part so it’s a variation I’m calling an Artsy Journal. It contains digital (AI) art, gel prints, some of my photography and lots of little pockets and hidden spots. Maybe someday I’ll get brave and post it somewhere.

Oh I sure hope you will. I would love to see it. Start with our small group and that will give you the confidence to show a larger audience! Artsy is so much better than

"junk".
